The Farm MORETTI DIONIGI E MATTEO has been working in the Roero since 1630 as it comes out from the ancient registers of landed property in Monteu Roero. At the present time the farmstead, consisting of several plots of land in the villages of Monteu Roero, Santo Stefano Roero, Montaldo Roero and  Govone, has a whole expanse of  40 hectares among which 25 with vineyard. The Moretti’s firm only wine-makes the grapes grown in its own vineyard. The wine quality is initially obtained in the vineyard, the treatment experienced is therefore as natural as possible: hence no chemical weed-killers, natural manuring, special system of pruning aimed at privileging quality rather than quantity, restricted and carefully chosen use of chemicals in fighting any fungous attacks and of animal parasites, care in the grape-harvesting.  Skilful working allows gaining the important purpose of the product quality and genuineness in the respect of tradition and, at the same time, following up the most advanced enological techniques. Our farm produces the most important quality wines of Roero: Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC, Roero DOC, Roero Arneis DOC, Barbera d’Alba DOC, Langhe Rosso DOC Vadonia barrique.
